Thank You

Dear Ssgt Frank Dunford,
Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman (Parachutist.) Independence Day is approaching, and we remember your sacrifice. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I will always remember Frank.

Frank was a first string running back at Saint James high school in Ferndale Michigan. He was only in tenth grade. Frank was a tough kid and a. Year and a half older than me. He was well liked by students and teachers. He drove the car on a double date . I was 14 and in the back seat of course. Frank treated me as an equal even though I was quite a bit younger. I joined the Marines and went to Vietnam but probably never saw anything like Frank did. He is a true American Hero. God Bless Frank
