Former MIA Captain John Everett Duffy, USAFA Class of 1968, has his name chiseled into one of the "Courts of the Missing" (Vietnam War Section, Court "A" (Air Force)) at the Honolulu Memorial in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific on the island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii. Dear Captain John Duffy,
Thank you for your service as a Forward Air Controller, Cessna O-2 Skymaster. I am glad you were identified in 1996. Welcome home. Independence Day is approaching, and we remember your sacrifice. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
