You gave the most valuable you had
When you died I was a 13 years old student in West Germany and I watched the war every evening on TV. I am a doctor now and I have always been very emotional remembering the sacrifices Americans had to mourn als well as in WW II and the Vietnam War. I have read your name at the wall in the documentation of Ken Burns and Lynn Novick about the Vietnam War and found you here. May you never be forgotten. Erhard Gehler, Germany
