50 Years and not forgotten !

Dear Great Uncle Buddy, We are your sisters grandchildren, and we want you to know that you are missed and loved very much. We never got to meet, but know from Grandma Donald's words that you very much believed in what we were doing to help the South Vietnamese people escape persecution from the communist. It is because of you and your devotion that we live in freedom in our country today. God took you 50 years ago and may he continue to bless and keep you in his arms...We Love you..xoxo...

Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL Howard Arthur Donald, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Buddy Donald my football/baseball comrade.

We were friends, classmates, and athletes together. Your service to our nation will not be forgotten by me as long as I live.

Never Forgotten

Your bravery, courage, and strength will never be forgotten as you gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Our family misses and cherishes the moments they had with you, especially your sister (my grandmother). Although I never met you, thank you for your service.
