You Are Not Forgotten

My name is John Moore and Paul was my best friend Eddie’s older brother. Paul came from a wonderful family who loved him very much. I went to Vietnam not long after hearing of Paul’s death. I was fortunate enough to meet many Vietnamese people who expressed great appreciation for our coming to their aid. As they expressed their thankfulness to me I am confident that the pain Ed and his parents felt over his loss would have touched their hearts as well.

Every Memorial Day Paul is the first on my honor roll– Rest is Peace Paul

Paul Edward Dolik may be a relative

My Father Adam Joseph Dolik who passed on in 1998 used to speak of relatives in Palatine Illinois. My name is Scott K Dolik. I am wondering if Paul was a relative of mine. Whether he was or not he was definately a hero in my book. How young he was and how brave he was.

Rememberances of Childhood Sweetheart

My name is Jeannine Gail Goetsch, and I went to elementary school at Immanuel Lutheran School in Palatine, IL with Paul and to High School at Fremd High School with him in Palatine, IL. He was my first girlhood crush, and my first kiss. I went to Riverview Park with he and his father on my first 'date'. Paul was a wonderful boy, with maturity beyond his years and a kindness about him that showed wherever he went. To me, he was gentle, and when I heard he died shortly after coming 'in country', I cried.
