First Cavalry, 545 MP, Squad Leader, Security Platoon
Ken was my squad leader, security platoon, 545th MP Company, LZ TWO-BITS, Bong Son, summer 1967. A big guy with a great sense of humor. Great memories of squad meetings when all the guys would talk about their homes and families. I know he would have had a great future in the Army and his death was a great loss to all who knew him. When he left the security platoon, he was re-assigned to our 1st Platoon at LZ Up-Lift. He died in an ambush on Hwy. 1 south of Up-Lift. He will always be remembered and missed.

Thanks
Soldier-
I know I never you, but I want to be like you. You gave of yourself when your country needed you not knowing where God would take you, and that makes you a hero. You will never be forgotten and you live on in the hearts of many people now and forever. God Bless you and your family.
