An Honorable Friend and Soldier

George was my good friend, my neighbor, my high school classmate, my football teammate, and my fellow soldier. George would oftentimes come by my house following completion of his morning paper route to offer me a ride to school on the back seat of his Vespa motor scooter. George was a thoughtful and loyal buddy who had a loving family. His Dad was a successful dentist, his Mom was a homemaker who always seemed to have a friendly word for George’s friends, and his younger sister Marcia was also a student with us at Terra Linda High School. I often think of George, the true friend that he was to many and the supreme sacrifice he made for our nation. He is remembered and honored by his high school classmates at all our Class of 1963 reunions.
May you Rest In Peace, my friend. IKE

Rest In Peace , George. I remember when I was just a little kid loving up the street from you in Marinwood. You were nice even to a little punk like me. I came back to visit friends at 16 and I heard the heartbreaking news of your death. I still remember like yesterday you and your sister riding up the street on the moped. Rest In Peace, George. You will be forever in my mind. Allison E.
