Thank You

I am posting this as part of the Gridley High School posting project for one of my classes at Gridley High School in Gridley Illinois. Alvin James Ranke, I thank you for everything that you did for me and our country. You gave the most high and supreme sacrifice for our country. You will never be forgotten. God Bless.

We will always remember...

We will always remember the fun times we had with you and Lonnie and the kids in Harlingen and Waco, Texas. We played many a game of Bridge and told outrageous stories. Each year at Veterans Day, we take a few minutes and remember you and other dear friends who perished in Vietnam and recall the good times and the bad times. This year with Operation Enduring Freedom, Veterans Day will be particularly poignant. You are not forgotten!
