My Hero
I was 13 years old when you left us.I’m 69 years old now and getting closer to seeing you again. Our last car ride and the conversation we had was a memory I will never forget. You knew then you were never coming home. Today Memorial Day 2021, I hold the flag that draped your casket when we put you to rest. Thank you for your leadership that day, and sacrifice you made to give up your life to keep us safe. You will always be my Hero! Love you, Uncle Ronnie I only wish our whole family could have known you. My grandchildren get to know you from your medals, flags, pictures, and history. You are there Hero also! Though the generations of our family you will continue to be our “Hero”
