Memorial Reach Out

My name is Patti and I work in the office of New York State Assemblymember Kevin Cahill. Our office is planning an event to honor those who were killed in Vietnam that were from our district, which encompasses most of Ulster County and Northern Dutchess. As such, we are hoping to get in touch with any of the surviving family members or close friends of this individual. Should anyone that reads this know how to contact them, we would greatly appreciate it if, with the family or friend’s permission, we could be given a means of reaching out to them. Our office can be contacted by phone at 845-338-9610 or email at [email protected]. Thank you.

Thank You

Dear Lt Raymond Dilorenzo,
Thank you for your service as Engineer Construction Unit Commander. Memorial Day is coming up, and we remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Raymond DiLorenzo

Even after all of these years and in the midst of the Ken Burns documentary it hurts to think of the loss of Raymond and his comrades.
I have pictures of our first grade class with Raymond and prior contributor Brian Collins.
What a painful time in our history.

Classmates

We sat next to each other in the 2nd grade at Milton Elementary School. You moved to Highland and I don't think that I ever saw you again. However, I remember you and will always remember that you gave all in service of your country. RIP
