In Remembrance

Warrant Officer Danny Lee Dewey (Helicopter Pilot) served with the 1st Aviation Brigade, 7th Squadron, 17th Cavalry, C Troop. He began his tour on April 29, 1970. On June 5, 1970 he was piloting the US Army OH-6A helicopter #65-12937 when he was hit by hostile fire and crashed. Records indicate he was the only casualty. Awarded: DFC, BSM, AM, PH. Via.
