We Will Remember

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Never Forgotten

Mike and I went to high school together and lived just two streets from one another. When some paperwork snafu failed to assign me a locker during my Junior and Senior years, Mike shared his locker with me. We spent a lot of time at my family's cabin on St. Froid Lake. When I moved on to UM/Orono, Mike was living in Brewer and we continued to spend leisure time together. Eventually, I took work in New Jersey and our paths drifted apart. I still think of Mike frequently. He was a good guy and a terrific friend. As long as I have breath, he will still have life in my mind and heart.
