Thomas George Denning

Tom was a classmate of mine (1965) and we worked together right out of high school at Seagram's Distillery in Lawrenceburg, IN. A very nice young man and the kind you'd be proud of to have as a friend. He was very easy going and always had a big smile on his face. A real American tragedy to lose a soldier and young man of his caliber. He always wanted to be a United States Marine and really looked forward to going in. He's always on my mind and I wonder what he would be doing today if God hadn't decided to cut his life so short. I've visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial several times and always try to visit his grave, especially on his birthday, June 6. I hope that there are a lot of other people who knew him and keep him in their thoughts and prayers. Eternal rest grant unto him O'Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed rest in peace. Tommy was a classmate of Lary Dale Fogle who was killed in action on Dec. 20, 1965.
