To my cousin
Hi Pete,
It's been almost 55 years since I received the sad news that you had been killed in action. I was 16 years old. Thanks for showing me how to make the 7-pin spare. As the only other lefty bowler in the family you were my mentor. I'm happy that you are together with all your family now. Till we see each other again. God Bless. Say hi to everyone for me.

I was 14 when you died --- my mother was a friend of one of your family members. You grew up a few blocks from me. I remember my mother crying when we heard the news of your death in Vietnam-- how your family had a party all planned for your homecoming. Thank you for your service. I will always remember you.
