Thank You

Dear Lt Kenneth Dee,
Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Our Life Was Too Short Together

Not a day goes by in my life that I don't think of you. Remember all the wonderful times we had and wishing we had many more. Three months of marriage was certainly not enough. I hope to see you again and be with you forever.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear 1LT Kenneth Samuel Dee, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

for Lt. Dee

I met Lt.Dee when I arrived at Patrol Base Dixon on Feb.15,1970. I was a PFC 'new guy' and he led me on my first Recon patrol, ambush patrol, eagle flight, and what seemed like many other missions. I only got to spend 2 weeks with him, but I have never forgotten him.

To my husband Kenneth:

Even after 41 years you still remain in my thoughts every day. You are in my dreams and prayers. Soon the day will come when we are reunited in heaven. You will always be a part of me.
