Remembering a good friend

I still think about you from time to time and the many good times we all shared during our 4 years at Brother Rice. Rest easy my friend, and thank you for your service.

You’ve Never Been Forgotten!

Patrick, as one of your high school girlfriends, I remember the two of us sitting in the bleachers at basketball games, singing songs. We probably had no idea what the score was! My all-girls school was right across the ditch from your all-boys school, and I remember you coming to visit me every morning before school. On cold days, your curly hair would have icicles in it because you had just taken a shower right before coming outside! I still have the letters you sent me from over there in Vietnam. In one of the last ones, you said that God was starting to become much more important in your life. I’m glad, because shortly after you wrote that letter, you were gone! So young! But you’ve never been forgotten! God bless you, Pat, and thank you for your courageous service!
