1st Lieutenant Jerald F De looze MY UNCLE
Jerald,
As I sit here in the early hours of Memorial Day, I salute you.
I have no words to express the gratitude I have, not only that you are my uncle but the ultimate sacrifice you made for our country.
As I reflect on the memories,I saw one from my equally wonderful sister Liz and could not hold back the tears of losing two great people.
I wish I would’ve had the opportunity to meet you and shake your hand.
Give my sister and nephew DJ a kiss and a hug from me.
I love you all.
Right now our great country could use millions more brave men and women like yourself.
I’m not rushing now to meet you, but when the day comes, it would be my honor and privilege to shake your hand.
