I knew his family.
I knew Bob's older sister, Karen. She was a good friend of my girlfriend & I visited the family home on several occasions. He was a very nice young man as I remember him. It is sad to see that he was lost in the Vietnam war. I also served with Karen's husband in Montana & rode with him back to Calif. to visit our girlfriends. I served with the Air Force in Vietnam (70-71) & very much identify with my fellow veteran's (both dead & alive). Rest in peace, Bob.

NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER
It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die

Infantry OCS Classmates
Bob and I served in the same OCS class at Ft Benning,Ga. He was a great guy, good sense of humor and pleasure to be around. Bob always pulled his share and more. Aaron your Dad was one of the good guys and a wonderful role model. He is missed. Rest in Peace my friend.
