do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....

My Uncle Doug

I was so young and he was too ! I never understood why he could not come home ! He was a great person who loved his family. As a little girl I remember his love for his nieces and nephews . My brother always looked up to him . I always thought he was the best ! His family lost a great person but he wanted to fight for his country ! Too young to Die But He Did IT For All Us . I understand now .
