Semper Fi, Doc
Thank you for your excellent service to our Corps and Country. If it was not for your
expert treatment to my head wound in which I lost my left eye, I would have bled to death. As the Platoon Commander of the the Second Platoon of Kilo Company
3rd Battalion First Marines let me express our appreciation for your consistent good humor and dedication to your job. Your service made the difference. Thanks for being there Doc.

You paid the ultimate price and a settled debt that I can never repay until I see you in person in Glory. Thank you for giving me the civilian life I have today. Respectfully, Dave

Gone but never forgotten!!
With tear stained eyes I write this post. Dennis P. Day was my Uncle. I never had the chance to meet him but I feel as though I do. Thanks to memories that my mom, his sister has shared. I realize what an amazing man he was. He was taken from my family way to early. I know that I will meet him someday in heaven but until then..... I am fiercely patriotic because of his sacrifice for my freedoms!!
