You will never be forgotten
Dear Michael,
As a student at Gridley High School, in Gridley, IL, I just want to thank you for your service during the war. You made a great sacrifice to put others in front of yourself, and for that you lost yours. This is one of the best sacrifices ever made and one that will never be forgotten. Many of you soldiers are loved and missed, but we are grateful and proud of what you did for this country. Thank you and may you rest in peace.
Sincerely,

Remembering Because We Care
Dear Sir,
I am a student at Gridley High School, and am currently involved in an
assignment where I leave rememberances to our country's fallen soldiers
of the Vietnam War. However, I do not feel an obligation to leave a
message to you. I am doing it because I care, because you were willing
to make the ultimate sacrifice so all people could live a life with freedom
and happiness. You fought bravely and defended rights. You truly are a
hero. Your commitment to this country will never be forgotten.
