NEVER FORGOTTEN

Dave it is hard to believe that it has been 46 years since you gave your life for our country. I can still remember you as a young man of 19. Your smile would light up a room when you entered it. Your dad, who delivered milk at Park View Gardens Nursing Home where I worked, was so proud of you. i will never forget when he saw him after your death. All of us who worked there sobbed in your dads arms. It was so hard for us to conceive or believe that you were gone. Thank you for your service and your ultimate sacrifice. You will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN Dave.
Your Friend From West High,

I Will Never Forget

Dave was a friend of mine from West High School. Dave had a smile that lit up a room when he entered. I will never forget the day we learned our young friend had given his life for our country. When I visited the Vietnam Memorial Wall in D.C. I made a rubbing of Dave's name while tears were streaming down my face. Dave, thanks for your friendship and your service to our country. You will never be forgotten.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC David Lee Davis, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

With respect, Sir
