I had the honor of accompanying my father a Vietnam Veteran on an honor flight 2 years ago. The name he had to see was that of SSGT Anglim. Anglim was his instructor in Junior ROTC at Bessemer High School. Sargent Anglim had definitely made an impact on my father and shortly after high school my father signed up and served.

Thank You Sargent Anglim for your service both in the community and overseas. You sacrifice is not forgotten.

Staff Sergeant Adrian James Anglim, Served with Company C, 1st Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, United States Army Vietnam.

Staff Sergeant James Anglim was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Oak Leaf Cluster, for his exemplary courage under fire. He served as an Infantryman with C Co, 1st Bn, 2nd Inf, 1st Inf Div.
