Uncle Mike

Although we've never met, I think of you often and talk about you to my children. I think about how it would be for you to be here now with our family and my prayer is that we will all someday be together again in heaven loving each other and loving God. My mom is your younger sister and I know losing you had a big impact on her life. I understand that pain because I lost my big brother also. Just like you my big brother is also my hero and I love him and look up to him so very much. We are so grateful for your service, for your sacrifice and for you. I have a 5 year old son that often tells me out of the blue, "I miss my Uncle Mike." You are remembered, you are loved. Your sacrifice will be honored, remembered and taught to the next generation. We love you and miss you.
