Hand Salute! Miss You, Brother!
Ralph and I were in Army Flight School together and were good friends. He was always good for a laugh and had a good smile even when times were hard. After flight school we went our different paths and I was saddened to hear of his being lost.
I still recall some of the good times we had as we learned to fly helicopters and learn a new way of life in the Army.
It is my greatest honor to have been allowed to serve alongside Men like him and the others as Army Aviators.
Hand Salute, Brother! See you on the Green!

Thinking of you
My brother James Mason was also on the helicopter when it went down. His body was never recovered. I wish you peace knowing that you were one of the last people to have seen my brother that day. Thank you for your service.

Thank You
Dear WO Ralph Daugherty,
Thank you for your service as an Utility & Light Cargo Single Rotor Helicopter Pilot. We are celebrating Passover and Easter. It is a time of joy, and may that be yours in heaven. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
