I'll remember you.

Sorry that I've waited so long to write, but its hard with your close friends to say so long. I remember you Bruce L, and Frank Hudson and the rest of us at Keppel. I'll always remember you as my Friend.

Miss You Cousin

Each Memorial Day Weekend I search for you and remember. You were 23 when you were killed in action in a War that didn't make sense to most people, but made sense enough for you to fight in. You'd be nearing the end of your life now. All that you missed because of your sacrifice. What would your wife and kids have been like? What trade or profession would you have gone into? Where would you have lived? We'll never know that. We miss you and will never forget you. I remind my children to never take their freedom for granted because of the men and women, like you, that sacrificed their lives for it. We are the land of the free, BECAUSE of the brave, like you. Blessings to you Cuz, as you rest in the arms of the Savior.

Lorraine: a neighbor in South San Gabriel

Sandy was a find and sweet person who gave me a ride home from high school a time or two. We talked over the fence occasionally. I was devastated when I heard of his death. I think the first from or area in that dreadful war. THANK YOU, Sandy, for your service. I think of you often.
