Frozen in Time
Mike, you have been on my mind a lot lately. The newspaper article on Clif Major and his reminiscenses of your band; the pictures I have of you hanging in my home; the news shows on the Memorial Wall; the movies on war...you haven't been with us for almost 34 years, but you are never far away. My mind's image of you is the same as the last time I saw you. You've never aged, and I'm glad. I spoke to my husband about Kathey's and my visit to the "travelling Wall" many years ago, and I still remember how hard it was to walk up to the section and locate your name. I love you very much and look forward to the time I can see you again.
