Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Today is National Vietnam Veterans' Day. Easter is coming up. Happy Easter. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Remembered Always

I just finished watching Vietnam in HD on the history channel. My mind kept flashing to Donald and the sacrifice He made for all Americans.

Donald and I were raised in the same church... and I can still remember his grin. I was just in the 9th grade when I attended Donald's funeral... the 21 gun salute and taps still echo in my mind.

He died on Valentines Day... and He was only 20... He was so young. Now... I am an old man, a veteran, and a born-again Christian... still asking God to help me understand his sacrifice.

I love my country... but today... all I see in Washington is Lies and Deception... a new me-generation that sleeps... as their liberties are being slowly taken away.

Donald died for those liberties and He walked tall with truth and honor in his backbone. God willing... I will see him soon and tell him how proud I am to have known him.
