One of the toughest guys I've ever known. He would never back down from a fight, and as I remember, he never lost one. Bob, all who knew you, thank you for you ultimate sacrifice. God Bless and we will meet again..

Cousin Bobby
I was 8 yrars old when you left for Vietnam. Just a little kid who had no understanding of what was going on in the world. It was your sister Patty's birthday and you Howie, Ronny, David and your brother Anthony took me to the park on the corner of where you lived. I remember you putting me on a swing and pushing me till the swing almost went over the top bar. LOL
You were a wild and crazy guy as Steve Martin would say on Saterday Night Live a few years later. The day in July that we were notified I'll never forget. We were all in Rumson, the whole family. We were all in the cars about to depart for Atlantic City for the day. As we were pullin out of the driveway, the phone inside the house rang and Aunt Freda got out of the car and ran into the house to answer the phone. It was your Mom and she broke the news.
I was still very young and had no clue what was going on. I waited in the car excited about the trip to Atlantic City. After about 30 minutes, I walked into the house looking for eveyone. I found everyone on the sun porch, Everyone. I'll never forget the all the tears. Young men who were, in my mind the toughest people I knew that were crying.
When I was told that yoiu were killed in the War it was the very First time in my live that I felt that emotion, you know, the one that we experence when we lose someone and that you'll never see him ever again.
I want you to know that ever since the Bribge conecting Richfield Park and Little Ferry was dedicated in your name along with some of your Brothers in Arms, to this very Day, 48 years after you were taken, I still cross that bridge and say the Lords prayer in your name. I also tell anyone I'm with that this bridge was named after my Cousin Bobby. And lastly, just a few months ago, I took my Two Daughters to cross the bridge. I introduced thie bridge to them so they will help to remember your name in this world.

To my friend
We sat next to each other in homeroom. I remember the day you told me you were joining the Marines. Then, after boot camp, you were home on leave and you told me you were going to Nam. I will never forget you my brave friend, and I thank you for you service, sacrifice and for my freedom. I think of you often and you are always in my prayers. God bless and someday soon we will meet again.
