THANK YOU
Dear Sp4 Michael Crowder,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I see your face and remember your sacrifice
Michael -- You were one of 5 good guys that lost their life that fateful morning in the RVN. I was there also and a part of what happened. All these years I knew it was bad but never knew who or how bad it was. Now I know... and I just can't say how deep the hurt is. It has all come back and I can hear the screams and the rounds and your FO on the radio looking for help. RIP, brother. I will never forget the cost of war, the sights or sounds of battle, or the good men that died. May GOD hold you in his loving arms always and forever.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Michael Crowder, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
