Thank You
We never met. Our last names are spelled a little differently. I saw your name on the wall and had to look you up. Our family came over in 1650 and we have always served our country. You made the ultimate sacrifice. RIP.

Thank You
Dear Lcpl James Cressey,
Thank you for your service as a Combat Engineer. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Tall Hero
I was a little girl the first time I met you. I was your sister class mate. She asked me over and I was amaze at your height as I was 5 years old and never dreamed people grew that tall. The tallest was my brother at 6 4 and that was a giant. You reached down and picked me up and said you are so cute. I was scared but learned you was a gentle giant. Thank you. Your family was always good to me.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL James Daniel Cressey Jr, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter
