MOS: 36K2P Tactical Wire Operations Specialist (Airborne Qual.)

The battalion was participating in Operation Mac Arthur when they encountered hostile forces at Hill 875. Claude died as a result of fragmentation wounds to the body from a hostile explosive device. The Army lost 72 soldiers during the fierce fighting.
Survived by his mother, Ilene E Henderson of 1251 21st 76th Place, Los Angeles, CA.

Claude, you were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor Claude.
