Forever grateful for your sacrifice
I remember you as a little boy across the road from my home. You gave it all. May your memory be eternal.

THANK YOU
Dear LCPL Travis Crain,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It is Presidents' Weekend, and good time to remember those who serve. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Travis was my favorite cousin back in Kentucky
I was a year older than Travis. He was a mature person for his age. I named my son after Travis. I was waiting to be deployed to Viet Nam when I got the bad news. Travis was also an Eagle Scout, his dad a Marine in WWII, so no one was surprised he went to Nam. I think about him often. So many fine young men lost in that terrible war. RIP Travis.
