Catholic Chaplain; Three Other area GI's Killed in Vietnam War
Army Pfc. James A. Anderson, 20, of 113 Franklin st., Chester.
Pfc. Anderson, a 1966 graduate of Chester High School, was drafted a year later. An infantry rifleman, he died of wounds February 20.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Louise Anderson; a sister, Carole, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Goldsborough and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Warrick.
Article appeared in part in The Philadelphia Inquirer on February 27, 1968. The Chaplain and the 2 area men KIA's mentioned in the article were 1Lt. Robert R. Brett, USN, of Collingdale, PA, and Army Sp/4's Joseph T. Gallagher and Ray D. Cropper, both of Philadelphia.
