He taught a few of us younger kids judo on the lawn of St. John’s school across the school from his building. I remember him as one of the nice ones

I remember Marty from when I was very young. His family were the supers of an adjoining building. I lived at 3150 Kingsbridge Ave. and played in the courtyard between the two buildings. It’s been a long time but I still remember him and remember hearing the sad news if his passing.
