THE WALL OF FACES

Today is Veterans Day—-and I just watched a story on the news about the POW/MIA bracelets so I went to search for the one I wore in high school. Lt. John Conlon III—-I prayed for you fervently, and want you and your family to know how grateful I am for your sacrifice.

I wore John F. Conlon III's bracelet for several years during Highschool. I'm so thankful for his service & I'm happy to hear that he was found. God bless his family.

1LT John Conlon, You are remembered. Observer with O-1E 56-2499 on that ill-fated mission. Glad you were identified and had a burial.

As a university student from 1969-1973, I purchased an MIA bracelet with Lt. Conlon's name and date he was reported missing, 3-4-66. The idea was to wear it until your soldier came home. I wore the bracelet for a year after the war ended but kept it safe. Sadly, I see that his remains were identified in 2006. I would like to contact his heirs.

Have had Maj. Conlon,s pow bracelet since the 70s. Found he was born in Wilkes Barre, Pa. my hometown!
