Dear Sp5 David Combs,
Thank you for your service as a Flight Qualified Observation/Scout Helicopter Repairer with the 1st Cavalry. It is 2018, Happy New Year, and it is the 9th Day of Christmas. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Left to right; Lil John Harris, wounded on the Mar,14th, because I was wounded the 15th; Wilkerson from Utah, many Mormon conversations; next I cant remember name but remember him being wounded in the arm; our TI sgt., a good guy but no name; Dave was 2nd from right, wounded after exiting an oh-6A that received lots of fire, on the flight line from a lousy mini gun misfire after safety plate was removed, Minigun shit,Good for nothing,I hated them. next was ,'the chief', Saint John from Oki. I was there when the chief landed in his 13 and fell over was shot in the foot and didnt know it.
