How to Register to Read Names

In Memory Honor Roll Call registration is now closed.

VVMF will begin assigning reading lists via email now that the registration is closed.  All reader confirmations will be emailed out the week of April 4, 2022.  Each reader will be assigned a list of 15 names and a time slot when those names will be read.  Upon receipt of the email each reader will be asked to confirm.  If confirmation is not received VVMF will re-assign that list of names.

If you have any questions about your registration request please email us at [email protected]

The names will be read in lists of 15 honorees at a time, by the date they were taken from us, and alphabetically within each day.  VVMF will work to accommodate all specific requests, however, please understand we may receive multiple requests for the same name/time period and we will work through those as best we can. No reading slot is confirmed until you receive an assignment from VVMF via email and you respond to it with your confirmation.

Closer to the event date we will provide more specific information about when and where to check in the day of the event.

On the day of the event each reader will check in for their reading time slot, then proceed to the stage.  Each assigned reading list of 15 names takes approximately one minute to read.  The In Memory Honor Roll Call event will take approximately 6 hours to complete.  Out of respect for the other readers and families watching at home, readers are asked to only read the names of the honorees on their assigned reading list and make no additional remarks.

If you would like to hear an example of how names will be read on stage click here.
