Frank Harrison
Frank Charles Harrison
Frank was born in Germantown, Pa, but when he was around eight, the family moved to Covina, CA. It was there that his love of theater and film entered his life. He had won a scholarship to the famed Pasadena Playhouse but instead opted to join the Army and fight for his country during the Viet Nam War. Frank spent eleven months and 27 days in Viet Nam and four years in service. It took a while for Frank to acclimate back to civilian life, often reacting to backfires from cars or being woken from sleep. Though Frank was enormously proud of his service to his country and his time in Viet Nam, he very rarely spoke of it and when he did, it was brief. He was always the first one to stand for the National Anthem and proudly displayed the American flag at our home. Though he was co-captain of the football team and captain of the wrestling team at Northview High, he rarely watched sports. He preferred spending his Sundays with his children or working outside. Frank was shy until he got to know you, then watch out. He would unleash his off-beat sense of humor made more fun by his antics of acting it all out for you complete with sound effects. He was a part-time actor and full-time father of two and grandfather of four.
