Jack at Oregon State

I was a graduate student at Oregon State when Jack was there. He worked on some of my projects. He was a quiet, sincere guy who I admired. I did not know what became of him. I knew that he was trying to get to med school. I left OSU in 1973, but never forgot Jack. I was disheartened to see that he died. I have a photo of him at the North Cascades Smoke Jumper Base, July 1972.

Jack

Jack was probably the most qualified to get into Medical School of anyone I knew. He tried many times and was rebuffed. He is the only person I know who went to Loch Ness Scotland to find Nessie. He was a great human being and deserved much better than he got. I salute you Jack. God rest your soul.
