In Memory 6/16/2018

I just got back from the ceremony in Washington D.C. It was a wonderful experience, just wish I could have had your hand to hold! I never expected to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary without you, But June 16, 2018, will long be remembered as the day we DID get to celebrate 50 years together if not in body at least in spirit. I carried your picture all over with me sight seeing the rest of the day. People even asked me about it and I would tell them our story. In reality, I guess we did spend our anniversary together! All my love forever, Vickie

My husband, Joe

I will be in Washington D.C. on June 16th to read your name at the Vietnam Wall during the remembrance ceremony. That day will be our 50th wedding anniversary. Since we were kids, I wondered where we would be on our 50th anniversary. It is certainly not what I planned, but I will read your name and know that you are there beside me, with your big grin.
