On the second floor of the Del Norte County Historical Society Museum in Crescent City, CA is a display case which honors soldiers who lost their life in Vietnam. The display case sits beneath a plaque provided by the Pacific Northwest Chapter of Vietnow. The plaque was dedicated May 1, 1997, and begins with the inscription “All Gave Some…Some Gave All…Some Are Still Giving…” It also lists the names of 32 soldiers who lost their life in the war. On display inside the case are many of the items left by family and loved ones at The Moving Wall, a replica of the national Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall that was on display in Crescent City at Beachfront Park July 1-7, 1993.
