Forever There
Posted for: CHARLES EDG WUERTENBERGER:
Charlie, the greatest Company Commander and Operation Officer I ever knew. Served with him in Germany 67-68. Was with him every day while he was the operational officer of Co D, LRP, 17th Infantry. He taught me so much, and he gave so much to our unit. He will always be remembered in our hearts. He was truly an American Hero that all Americans should be proud of. He did not die in vain. He was the type of Commander that any of his men would have given their life for. He perserved the brotherhood of the elite. Rest with God Charlie, I know you must be an Arc Angel.
