such a loss
Posted for: ROGER ORRIE WELLS:
Roger was from Pleasantville, a small town in northwestern Pennsylvania. His parents owned and operated a small grocery store on the main street, so likely many knew of Roger and his parents. He is buried in the cemetery in Pleasantville just to the left and front of my father. When I visit my father, I always stop by Roger's gravesite. I have left a small flag on several occasions. There is much saddness when I remember Vietnam and young men like Roger. But I also always honor his supreme sacrifice, and I'm sure the small town of Pleasantville holds Roger in high honor too.
