You Have Options
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) appreciates your consideration of planned giving. As you begin the process of planning your gift, you have a number of options. Planned giving is a way for you to support VVMF's mission to honor veterans, preserve the legacy of The Wall, and educate current and future generations about the effects of the Vietnam War. You can take care of yourself and your family and fulfill your charitable goals.
Giving by bequest costs nothing now, yet it may give you a great deal of satisfaction to know that your future gift will live on. Planned gifts, such as bequests or charitable trusts, can be an advantageous way to provide for a future gift to charity. You can also name VVMF as the beneficiary of your estate after expenses and gifts to your loved ones.
VVMF also welcomes the gifts of publicly traded securities, non-publicly traded assets, real estate, retirement plans, life insurance policies, and other possibilities. If you, your attorney or financial adviser has any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Luz Lovins at email@example.com.
If you have made a planned giving gift to VVMF, please forward a copy of your planned giving documents to:

As you explore our site, you will have the opportunity to get to know some of our incredible donors – people just like you, read some inspiring examples, and understand why they have invested in the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund. The Development Department is happy to help you explore options for designating a bequest to VVMF. We would be happy to help you explore and understand how a planned gift to VVMF might fit into your plans.
Those considering a planned gift should consult their own legal and tax advisors. We are happy to speak with advisors as well. In the meantime, please see our sample language or contact Viktor Zikas at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Wall Society – Let Us Thank You
The Wall Society recognizes those who have made a pledge to ensure the ongoing work of VVMF, including that The Wall will continue to be hallowed ground not only for today, but for future generations. Become part of this legacy, and the associated programs and initiatives, with a planned gift to VVMF.
Notifying us of your intended gift helps us both. Sharing your designation with us will ensure that your gift is used as you intend, and recognition of your gift may inspire others to do the same.
A planned gift may enable you to satisfy personal financial planning needs in addition to providing VVMF with important, long-term support. Some plans may provide income for life (or a term of years), an immediate income tax charitable deduction or avoidance of capital gains tax.
VVMF also understands that some donors wish to remain anonymous. If you have made a planned giving gift and wish to remain anonymous, please indicate this by contacting Viktor Zikas at email@example.com.
