The voluntary school curriculum consists of the following lesson plans: Remembering those who Sacrificed, Preserving Veteran's Personal Stories, Commemorating Veterans, and Understanding Healing through Memorials.
Students and teachers from six schools across the country attended the launch to showcase their work with the curriculum.
Congressional members in attendance were: Representative Suzanne Bonamici, D-Oregon, Representative Jason Smith, R-Missouri, Senator John Cornyn, Texas, Congressman Richard Neal (D-MA), Congressman John Delaney (D-MD), and Representative Brad Witt.
