Every year on Father's Day, VVMF volunteers and staff place thousands of roses at the base of The Wall to honor the fathers who never made it home and the men who never got a chance to start families of their own. And for the first time in 2014, we placed roses for those members of the In Memory program. In Memory honors those who died as a result of the Vietnam War, but do not meet the Department of Defense criteria for inclusion on The Wall.
