  A somber day in 1969
Posted for: JOEL AUSBIN MAY JR:
You knew me as the infant son of your pastor, Rev. A. Bailey Duncan, at Roxton Methodist Church in 1956.

I will never forget the long and somber trip back to Roxton in the autumn of 1969 for my father to officiate at your graveside commital service. For dad this duty was the highest of honors. For me, "full military honors" was very impressive indeed.

Your country is forever in your debt, sir. May you rest in God's peace.
