Jimmy Allen is my first cousin. I was only 7 when he passed. We did not find out till weeks later that he was Killed in Action on the same day as Robert Kennedy. Jimmies mother and mine are sisters. I still remember his going away party.
Fast Forward to the 2010's. 40 years after his passing, I am doing Family Genealogy. I also did DNA, as Jimmy knows now, as he is with them, that he is related to SVEN GUNNARSSON, who's son SWAN SWANSON sold the land that is now PHILADELPHIA to WILLIAM PENN. He is also a Descendant of WILLIAM LONG, who did 5 tours in the Revolutionary War.

Your Spirit remains ever present in my tiny world. Fifty-one years ago we played together in the old neighborhood and it seems like just the other day. I try to hang on to you because of what your Duty and Loss has come to symbolize to me .I try to tell people I meet about the" War" and Soldiers like you and others who gave their all. Well another Hot Summer night like we always enjoyed playing.. I know you have moved on as will I soon enough. LOVE Howard Stabler
