SFC Bryant: Today is Veteran Day and I was thinking about you, all day. I remember the night of the 24 Apr 1969, when you and me were in a firefight with a Vietcong element when they were trying to enter a small Hamlet in Nohn Trach District. I remember you calling in on the radio to our District HQS to quit dropping the Illumination rounds on top of us and cussing them out because everything was on fire around us. You my fellow solider were at your best and I am proud to have known you and have serve with you. The Vietcong retreated and our mission was accomplish.

Dear SFC Solomon Herbert Bryant, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

    With respect, Sir

    Curt Carter
